Happy Halloween from Godiva Mummy!

Happy Halloween to everyone! I have an exam on Halloween, so I can't really celebrate. That really sucks. But I bought some Godiva chocolate to cheer myself up. Gonna eat them on Halloween... muahahaha! Check them out!

The power of MTV Video Music Award

2011 MTV VMA which was held on August 28 had a great influence in this week's charts. Nearly all the songs from the performers gained a significant increase in popularity that was clearly reflected on the sales and chart positions. Adele's "Someone Like You" jumped to No. 1 from No. 19. Cobra Starship managed to reach top 10 with "You Make Me Feel..." featuring Sabi. Beyonce grabbed No. 20 with "Love On Top". Even Chris Brown's "Beautiful People" made it into the chart even though it was released months ago.

Mirror on the wall...

I am not a big fan of Lil Wayne, but this song "Mirror" is definitely good. Partly, in my own opinion, it's because Bruno Mars is featured in this song.

RANDOM -- Food Supply @ Instant Noodle

Finally, the food supply comes! Thanks to my mum and aunt! I can say goodbye to American food and so-called "Chinese food" for a while.

                                                                      Beef in the noodle!

                                                  Small shrimp in the noodle!

Rebecca Black's new MV: Cheers or Jeers?

Rebecca Black has released new video for her Song "My Moment". It is a follow-up to "Friday".
Emmm, the singing isn’t that terrible, but it’s not that good either. And for a person who is only famous for being the person behind something so awful that it was a viral video masterpiece, this tepid song just isn’t cutting it.
Here are some reactions from those who checked the video out:

Sarah Anne Hughes
Yes, Rebecca it was your moment. And now that moment is over. Please return to being a normal 14-year-old.
Hayley Hoover
The computer that sings "This is My Moment" sounds sort of like Rebecca Black.
Aujani
LMFAOOOOOO Rebecca Black's new song "My Moment" -dead- when is this girl gonna realize she CANNOT sing?
Brian Haner
Just when you thought it was safe to go back on youtube.
Jonathan Holmes
Rebecca Black may be the first superstar who lost traction because her second single wasn't bad enough-
Jenna Ezarik
My power started flickering just as I was about to watch Rebecca Black's new music video. Maybe that's a sign...
Alex
Rebecca Black's new song 'My Moment' makes me question life. I think she should just give up already.
Imran Al Aradi
Rebecca Black will eventually turn into a marketing tool for auto tune software.
Rex Hammock
Can we just cut out the middle part and go straight to when Rebecca Black starts self-destructing and ends up in rehab?
Michael Deppisch
Just saw the new Rebecca Black video. Is it normal to cry blood?

Paramore unleashed the Monster!

Paramore debuted "Monster" music video on 18th of July. You've probably heard this song played over the credits in the box office hit "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" (that’s provided that your sensory apparatus wasn’t completely fried).

YouTube Sensation - A Fu 鄧福如

This is another example of becoming famous on YouTube. This Taiwanese girl named A Fu covered some worldwide hits such as "Nothin' On You", "Just The Way You Are" and "Closer" and posted them on YouTube. Her covers have reached millions of views. A Fu debuted her first album in May 2011. Her songs have been real hits in karaoke box. Personally, I think her English is not that well-pronounced, but is acceptable. Her music has a soothing effect and her vocal is like Stephanie Sun 孙燕姿.
